This case accommodates the Tom Abramhamsson Rapidwinder.  It differs from our standard ½ case in that is uses small leather straps that snap around the camera lugs.  Your strap fastens directly to the camera as there are no strap hinges on the Rapidwinder ½ case.  The slot for the winder is plenty wide however it can be a little difficult getting the lever out of the case.  This is due to the design of the Rapidwinder handle and how it is flush with the camera body when in the closed position.  However, once the users works the case, they develop way to retract the lever out of the camera.  The snaps going around the camera lugs are secured by snaps on the back of the case.  This design allows for instant removal by placing your thumbs on the snaps and popping them in one quick stoke.  It also keeps the appearance of the camera sleek and streamline.
