Subject: RE: X-Pan Case Delivery - Thank You!!
Importance: High
George:
Just wanted to let you and your team know how delighted I am with the
Hasselblad X-PAN case you made for me. I did some travel recently in the UK
and wanted a case that I could pack in my briefcase which was also carrying
my laptop. The X-Pan case made that feasible (for the first time) so now,
rather than have to carry a bulky soft case in addition to my briefcase, I
can travel a lot more conveniently. I did a fair bit of climbing up tiny
spiral staircases in some 11th century churches and your case afforded
excellent protection against bangs and scrapes and also against dust and
sand. It also turned some heads of photographers who were shooting at some
of the same locations I was visiting. The case is still pristine and still
holds its subtle aroma of fine leather.
I have found that with use, the opening and closing of the top cover is a
lot easier but it remains a tight, precision fit with the lens hood in
place.
Thanks to all at Kameraleder for a truly fine and rare piece of
craftsmanship.
Regards
Phil
P.S. Caring for the leather case - light application of saddle soap to the
leather external once or twice a year - or not?
